A large majority of visitors to Will's Inn during the summer months are families who visit the many theme parks, such as Story Land (2 minutes away) and Santa's Village (a 45 minute drive).
In the early spring and late fall many motorcyclists, mostly retired couples and businessmen, visit Will's Inn and enjoy the relaxed comfort and exciting drives along the roadway & byways of the White Mountains.
Will's Inn offers special group rates, so always ask about these when you make your reservations for two days or longer. We're close to everything.
In the winter, it's all about skiing and snomobiling. But there are also lots of snowshow and cross country trails -- just minutes from the Inn. Eight minutes from Will's Inn, North Conway is known for it tax free shopping at many famous brand factory outlet stores. Visitors come from Canada and Europe to take advantage of the bargains, quality and diversity of the shops. When the clean mountain air affects your appetite, there are hundreds of great restaurants service up every kind of food imaginable! Conway Scenic Railroad -- With two great trains and three unique train rides, there's good old fashioned railroading fun for everyone. The "Valley Train" offers trips through the countryside to Conway (55 minutes) and Bartlett (1-3/4 hrs). For a truly unique dining experience, the Dining Car "Chocurua" offers lunch and dinner on selected "Valley Train" departures. The familiar whistle of the Conway Scenic Railroad can also be heard throughout Crawford Notch, as the "Notch Train" carries passengers past the finest natural scenery in the East. Flume Gorge - A spectacular walk through a natural chasm, over covered bridhes and through waterfalls. There's a Visitor's Center which offers an informative 20 minute movie. Open daily from May 10 to October 26 (weather permitting).(603-745-8391)
Hobo Railroad - Free from work, free from play... come be a hobo for the day! Weekends only from May 24 to June 15, then open daily June 28 to October 19. Santa Train is November 28-29, December 607, 13-14.(603-745-2135)
Lost River Gorge & Boulder Caves -- Guests of all ages have marvelled at its beauty, tranquility and mystery. Lots of wooden walkways, caves, a place to pan for gemstones... and so much more! Open daily May 10 to October 19.(603-745-8031)
Mt. Washington Auto Road -- Journey up the Mt. Washington Auto Road to the summit of 6,288 foot Mt. Washington, the highest peak in the Northeast. Opened in 1861, we're America's oldest man made attraction. Take a guided tour in an Auto Road van and learn about the mountain's history and lore or drive your own vehicle and receive an audio tour on CD or cassette -- and the world famous "This car climbed Mt. Santa's Village - Santa has oodles of festivals, fun-filled live shows and rides galore -- all in a land filled with the excitement of Christmas morning! The Polar Express - This experience includes a wonderful evening train ride, a sea of elves, and of course, Santa himself! This adventure is our rendition of the children's book, The Polar Express, written by Chris Van Allsburg and published by the Houghton Mifflin Company. Will's Inn has tickets for $40 each, with a 2 night minimum at the summer rates. This year we have tickets for December 6th, 13th, 19th, and 20th. On your own? There are many trails in the area, but for families, especially with small children, two are especially memorable.

SKI THE WHOLE MOUNT WASHINGTON VALLEY
Hot coffee and Muffins early in the morning gets everyone awake and ski reports are always available. We also carry DISCOUNT SKI TICKETS to many of the mountains and can advise on the best deals.
Motorcycling in the White Mountains -- Will's Inn often hosts a group of motorcyclist who come to enjoy the bucolic, winding roads that zip through the mountains and vistas. The usual tour begins in the South of New Hampshire, in the Lake Winnipesaukee area, going North on I-93 or Rt. 16 North, followed by the "grand loop" which starts at North Conway on Rt. 16 and follows North, past the Mt. Washington Auto Road, to Gorham. Riders then turn left on Rt. 2 West and follow this beautiful mountain road to I-93 South, then connect with either Rt.302 or Rt. 112 East, the famous Kangamagus Highway, which returns back to Will's Inn by way of Bear Notch Road and Rt. 302.

Hungry? Will's Inn is just minutes from North Conway, where there are familiar restaurants such as McDonalds, Wendy's, Burger King, The 99, Applebees, Dunkin Donuts, D'Angellos as well as a couple of excellent Thai restaurants, Chinese restaurants and an Indian restaurant. If you like Italian food, try Bellini's.
About a mile South of Will's Inn, on Rt. 302, there's an excellent Mexican restaurant called Margarita's, the Glen Junction Diner, a breakfast restaurant called Fresh Start (they'll give you a discount if you're staying with us) and a supermarket called Grant's.
If you want pizza, try Matty-B's or the Spaghetti Shed. You can even get a steamed lobster dinner to go! Just ask the front desk to give you the details.
Tax Free Shopping-- Thousands of people visit New Hampshire every day to go shopping. New Hampshire offers a tremendous selection of quality stores, but the primary reason that brings shoppers to this Northern New England state is the absence of a sales tax. The North Conway area has a wide range of stores, malls, and factory outlets that offer low prices and high values.
